By the MyAdminCV team · Updated 28 October 2026

What a strong HR administrator CV looks like, with example lines you can adapt.

What employers look for

HR administrator adverts name employee files (kept in line with POPIA), induction and onboarding, leave records, contracts, recruitment support, policies and reports such as employment equity. Some ask for an HR qualification and basic knowledge of the Labour Relations Act (LRA) and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA). Some add COIDA, skills development plans or a system such as Sage. Show the number of people you administered and the processes you ran.
