Personal assistant CV example

By the MyAdminCV team · Updated 28 October 2026

What a strong PA CV looks like, with example lines you can adapt.

What employers look for

PA adverts usually ask for experience supporting senior people, diary and travel management, taking and distributing minutes, correspondence, confidentiality and strong Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 skills. Some ask for a secretarial diploma or several years of experience. Some also ask for own transport or a driver's licence. Show who you supported and how much you handled.

Tips

Questions people ask

What is the difference between a PA and an executive assistant?
Titles overlap. An executive assistant usually supports a more senior person and takes on projects and stakeholders as well as diary and travel. Use the title the advert uses.
Do I need a secretarial diploma?
Some adverts ask for one, some only ask for Matric and experience. If you have a diploma, list it. If not, show your experience and systems.
